Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Kingfisher Technology Holdings, LLC (“Kingfisher Tech”, “we”) for using Kazzow: kazzow.com, the Kazzow studio, and apps put live with Kazzow at kazzow.app. By using Kazzow you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains what we keep about you.
The beta
Kazzow is in an invite-only beta. It's free while the beta lasts, it will change, and parts may stop working, be removed or start costing money. We will tell you before anything you've been using starts to cost money.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has got into it.
What you make is yours
You keep the rights you have in what you put into Kazzow and in the apps you make with it. You give us permission to store, copy, process and show it as needed to run Kazzow for you: to make and change your apps (including by sending it to our AI provider), to keep their history, and to serve the apps you put live to anyone with their address.
What Kazzow makes
Apps are made by an AI model from what you say. What it makes can be wrong, incomplete, or like something else that exists. Check your app before you rely on it or put it live, especially anything about prices, health, money, law or safety. Kazzow leaves blanks for facts only you know, rather than making them up; filling them in correctly is up to you.
Using Kazzow fairly
Don't use Kazzow, or put an app live, that:
- breaks the law, or helps someone else to;
- pretends to be someone else, collects passwords or payment details under false pretences, or is otherwise designed to deceive (phishing);
- infringes someone else's rights, such as their copyright, trademark or privacy;
- harasses, threatens or exploits anyone, or sexualises children;
- spreads malware, or attacks or overloads Kazzow or anyone else's systems;
- gets round Kazzow's limits, or uses it in ways meant to cost us money without using the service as intended.
Live apps are public. We may take an app offline, or suspend an account, if we believe it breaks these terms or puts people or Kazzow at risk, and we will tell you why when we can.
Availability
We work to keep Kazzow running and your work safe, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. Keep copies of anything you can't afford to lose.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, Kingfisher Tech isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from Kazzow. Our total liability for any claim about Kazzow is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Kazzow in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.
Ending
You can stop using Kazzow at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end or suspend your use of Kazzow if you break these terms, or end the service, with notice where we reasonably can. What you've made can be deleted when your account ends.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Kazzow changes. We will update the date above, and tell you in the studio or by email about changes that matter. Using Kazzow after a change means you accept the new terms.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state and federal courts in New York County, New York, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
