Privacy policy
Kazzow is made by Kingfisher Technology Holdings, LLC (“Kingfisher Tech”, “we”). This policy says what we keep when you use Kazzow (kazzow.com, the Kazzow studio, and apps put live with Kazzow at kazzow.app), why, who helps us run it, and the choices you have.
What we keep
- Your account. Your email address, and an ID for your account. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we also receive the name and picture those accounts share, and an ID for your Google or Apple account so we can recognise it next time. If you use a password, it is stored only by our sign-in provider, never in a form we can read.
- What you make. Your projects: what you say to Kazzow about them, the apps it makes, the facts you fill in, and every version, so you can go back to any of them. This is kept until you delete the project.
- Live apps. When you put an app live, a copy of it is public at its address, for anyone with the link.
- Visitor counts for live apps. When someone opens a live app, we count it: the day, which screens they look at, and whether they are on a phone, a tablet or a computer. To count each visitor once a day, we combine their network address and browser with a random value that changes every day and is then thrown away. We don't keep the address, set no cookies on the visitor's device, and can't follow anyone from one day to the next.
- Running the service. Records of requests and errors, kept for up to 30 days to find faults and stop abuse, and a record of what each change to your app cost us to make.
- Emails. We send sign-in codes and password-reset codes to your email address when you ask for them, and invitations when we invite you. We don't send marketing email.
How we use it
To run Kazzow for you: to sign you in, to make and change your apps, to keep their history, to put them live, to show you their visitor counts, to fix problems, and to prevent abuse. We also use it to answer you when you contact us, and where the law requires.
Who helps us run Kazzow
We don't sell your information. These providers process it for us, under their own terms, only to provide their part of the service:
- Amazon Web Services hosts Kazzow, stores your account and projects (in the United States), signs you in, and sends our emails.
- Anthropic provides the AI model that makes and changes your apps. What you say about a project, and the project itself, is sent to Anthropic's API to make each change. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, it isn't used to train their models.
- Cloudflare runs the domain names kazzow.com and kazzow.app.
- Google and Apple, only if you choose to sign in with them.
Cookies and what's kept in your browser
The studio uses cookies only to keep you signed in. They can't be read by the page's scripts or by other sites. Your browser also remembers, on your device only, the email you last signed in with and your light or dark setting. We use no advertising or tracking cookies, and live apps set none.
How long we keep it
Your account and projects are kept until you delete them or ask us to. A deleted project is removed with its history; its live app goes offline and its visitor counts are deleted. Records of requests and errors are kept for up to 30 days. Some records may be kept longer where the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can delete any project in the studio. You can ask us for a copy of what we keep about you, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything in it, by writing to us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or California's privacy laws; we will honour them. We don't sell or share personal information for advertising.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards: encrypted connections, sign-in cookies scripts can't read, each maker sees only their own projects, and access to our systems is limited. No service can promise perfect security.
Children
Kazzow isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly keep information about them. If you think a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Where it's kept
Kazzow's information is kept in the United States. If you use Kazzow from elsewhere, your information is sent to the United States to provide the service.
Changes
We will update this policy when Kazzow, its providers, or the law change, and update the date above. If a change matters to you, we will say so in the studio or by email.
